While similar in concept to duels, the mod introduces various additions and balance changes as well as an extensive pre-combat phase, giving the players much more agency over their combatants and keeping the replayability by introducing various random elements. RTA stands for Random Tactical Arena and represents an arena-type 1-on-1 map for Heroes V with a built-in global modification that puts heavy emphasis on tactical PvP combat.
